First cotton gin in Coppell, probably located on present Freeport Drive, west of downtown. Rumors say this building was destroyed by a tornado, and it was replaced with another gin in photo #759. 1956. Mr. Elgie Parr and Floyd Harwell on the porch of Harwell's barbershop, corner of W. Bethel and S. Coppell Roads (SE corner).
