    Dec. 13, 1962, probably from the Lewisville Leader newspaper. Clyde Parker was Coppell's long-time postmaster.. Ira E. Coats was Coppell's long-time rural mail carrier. This event took place in the new Coppell School gym. (P. Wilson, resident, 10/31/11)
