  7. 2-846 - Shack house. Handwriting on photo starts, "first and only house"

Duncan and Ida Harrison started keeping house here. Originally a store built by Jim Howell in Jan., 1893. It was near the depot - across the tracks. Inscription at bottom reads, "first and only house I ever owned." At top, "1927 to 1928." I believe this house or the one in photo #845 was occupied by a Mrs. Patrick, grandmother of a class-mate of mine, Beverly Hodges, about 1954. (P. Wilson, resident, 822/11)
