    Pete Wilson, about 1955, standing in side yard of Wilson home, looking west. Building behind at left is abandoned drug store, originally run by Minnie McGee. Later the first Assembly of God Church met there. Building was torn down in late 1950s. Building behind on right is the Cozby house, corner of Coppell & W. Bethel Rds.     From the 1965 school yearbook. A posed photo from the first CHS one-act play for competition, "Goodbye to the Clown." Pete Wilson and Cheryl Huckabee.     The power plant on North Lake. It was the largest tax payer in the C.I.S.D. This photo is from the 1965 school yearbook. It was used as a divider page for the advertising section. The photo was taken by a student at North Texas State University who was hired to take most of the photos for that year's yearbook. By 1964, he had been fired by the school board, apparently because the board did not feel he was qualified to remain the head of its growing district.
