    First cotton gin in Coppell, probably located on present Freeport Drive, west of downtown. Rumors say this building was destroyed by a tornado, and it was replaced with another gin in photo #759. A caption on this photo says, "Gin No. 1, 1885, located off of Bethel Rd. back of the C.P. Thomas place." P. Wilson, resident, 12/22/11)
