    Photo back said, "Elzie Parr, John Arnett, Grandpa Wood." As late as the 1960s, a number of retired men often sat in ront of the grocery store on the north side of Bethel Rd.     The November, 1982, Elm Forks Echoes says, "COPPELL BROTHERHOOD CLUB. The late Eddie Evans organized this club in the mid-forties. The purpose was to assist needy families. The first meeting was in the Evans' home. Everyone received a prize. Mr. Evans was a sales representative of many commodities.     The November, 1982, Elm Fork Echoes says, "Right: John Arnett taking a load of cotton to Coppell gin, 1913. Cotton was picked on Clarence Stewart place and wagon pulled by pet mules named Blue and Huldy." (P. Wilson, resident, 12/17/02)
