This bridge could be either over Denton Creek or an early bridge on what is now Southwestern Blvd. (Pete Wilson, resident, 12/14/01) Denton Creek, Ruby McDowell. (Jean Murph, member, 2/16/2002) My mother (3rd from right) & friends Ada Belle & Ethel Hood, possibly Ruby. Also, not sure of the rest. She usually had Esther Thompson (Gentry) & Esther Sisk along, too. I thought mom said it was at Carrollton Dam, not Denton Creek, but Ruby should know. (D. Parrish Hawley, 7/22/02) |
